Only four more sleeps and I am off to the Guide Jamboree in Christchurch - bring it on! I am a Programme leader, helping out on the Alpine Jet Spa experience - so if you are at Jamboree and end up in Hanmer - I'll be there somewhere too.
This will be my 3rd Jamboree - 1988 as a girl and 2000 and 2008 as a leader - I love being able to give opportunities to girls as were given to me in my formative years. I am the woman I am today because of the input from leaders all those years ago.
It is the 100th year of Guiding in NZ this year which makes it even more special. I am really proud to be a member of this awesome movement and I can't wait to see what more there is in store. If you want to know more about Guiding or how to become a leader just go here.
